Saturday Open Play at The Wild School
Ages 0–12 With Caregivers
Join us for a relaxed, open play session at The Wild School’s Heights campus, designed for children ages 0–12 and their caregivers.
Saturday Open Play offers families a protected, welcoming space to explore our campus at their own pace. There is no structured programming or scheduled activities. Instead, children are free to follow their curiosity while caregivers stay, observe, and play alongside them.
This is not a drop-off program. Caregivers remain on site and actively supervise their children throughout the session.
What Children Can Explore
During your visit, children may choose to:
-
Explore our outdoor treehouse
-
Visit our animal ambassadors, including goats, rabbits, chickens, and a gecko
-
Play in the sandbox and mud kitchen
-
Build with large loose parts, wood, and blocks
-
Spend time in our indoor library and covered play spaces
-
Move freely between indoor and outdoor environments
Children are welcome to engage quietly, energetically, or anywhere in between.
Who This Is For
Saturday Open Play is ideal for families seeking meaningful, nature-rich play in a safe, thoughtfully designed environment. It’s especially well-suited for mixed-age siblings, younger children who benefit from unhurried exploration, and caregivers who want to slow down and enjoy time outdoors together.
Come explore, connect, and enjoy a simple morning of play at The Wild School.
