Wild Educators is an in-person nature-based educator training by The Wild School designed to help educators and parents learn how to teach with the land they are standing on. Rooted in Houston’s local ecosystems and the 8 Shields mentoring framework, this immersive workshop focuses on practical tools you can use immediately, including place-based lesson design, core routines of nature connection, and the art of questioning to draw thinking and curiosity out of children. Participants leave with a clear, grounded approach to outdoor teaching that is responsive, intentional, and deeply connected to place.
