Role Overview

Forest Kindergarten Teachers lead children ages 5–6 through a balanced kindergarten experience that blends academic foundations with extended outdoor exploration and project-based learning.

​

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning

  • Lead daily outdoor lessons and projects

  • Support social-emotional development

  • Observe and document student progress

  • Collaborate with team members and families

  • Maintain a structured yet flexible learning environment

​

Compensation

  • Starting at $20/hour, depending on education and experience

​

Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field

  • Experience teaching kindergarten or early elementary children

  • Comfort teaching outdoors year-round

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

​
