Role Overview
Forest Kindergarten Teachers lead children ages 5–6 through a balanced kindergarten experience that blends academic foundations with extended outdoor exploration and project-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning

Lead daily outdoor lessons and projects

Support social-emotional development

Observe and document student progress

Collaborate with team members and families

Maintain a structured yet flexible learning environment

Compensation

Starting at $20/hour, depending on education and experience
​
Qualifications (Required)
-
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field
-
Experience teaching kindergarten or early elementary children
-
Comfort teaching outdoors year-round

Strong communication and organizational skills
