Role Overview

Forest School Teachers lead outdoor classes focused on exploration, resilience, nature connection, and skill-building. This role is ideal for educators who can hold boundaries, facilitate child-led learning, and maintain strong safety standards outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead outdoor learning experiences and group rhythm

  • Maintain clear safety boundaries and effective supervision

  • Facilitate activities, games, and exploration invitations

  • Support social development and conflict resolution as needed

  • Communicate professionally with staff and follow program systems

​

Schedule

Varies by location/program.

​

Compensation

Starting at $18/hour, depending on experience.

​

Qualifications (Required)

  • Experience working with children in group settings

  • Comfort outdoors in all weather

  • Strong presence, supervision skill, and reliability

  • Education/outdoor education background preferred

​
