​The Wild School’s fully outdoor camp immerses kids in nature-based learning, survival skills, and adventure, fostering confidence, teamwork, and a deep connection with the natural world. Our experienced educators guide children through engaging activities using Coyote Mentoring & Flow Learning, helping them develop resilience, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a fun and safe environment.

Full and Half Day Options

Half-Day Camp (Ages 3-6): 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Full-week registration or Choose Days)

Optional Early Drop-Off: 8:30 AM ($5 per day)​

What to Bring

The Wild School operates rain or shine to ensure an authentic outdoor experience.

In case of severe weather, we will relocate to a nearby facility with both indoor and outdoor access.

Wildlife of Houston: Animal Tracking & Bug Hunting

Shelter & Campfire Cooking: Forest Immersion

Option 1: Stay at Lorraine Cherry Preserve – Build survival shelters and learn fire safety and campfire cooking.

Option 2: Attend the Forest Immersion at George Mitchell Nature Preserve (The Woodlands) – A deeper wilderness experience featuring tracking, sensory awareness games, and forest exploration.
